PT's is wonderful. I love how casual it is without being trashy. I, personally, like burger bash more than Rama because of the waffle fries.
The one thing I will say is that security may be a little weird at times. It's not like a huge deal but I have noticed a couple times people were arbitrarily not let in or will kick people out.
but you know, it's still a cool place. -

Very fun place to go with friends, if you can put up with the rude employees. I understand you work at a college bar but Ricks, Harpers, Fieldhouse, all other EL bars I've never been confronted in a such a rude way. Blonde girl at the back door slapped my boyfriends drink out of his hand when he walked over to the door to look out. Then continued to be rude, not only did we have an AWFUL experience with her but the people at the bar were ridiculous! If you want to make tips you need to brighten up your service. I go out for an experience and they made me feel not welcomed. Will not be back, you can catch me at Fieldhouse the next time we all decide go out.

PT's was the best dance bar in East Lansing until 2019, when apparently they decided to become the worst fake sports bar/knock off ricks in the city. Apparently their move now is to turn off the music so they can play game footage even when MSU is 30 points up. Had 0 fun, left after 15 minutes

PT's is ok at best. I've always held a slight grudge because one of their bouncers swiped my fake back in college, but it's fine. I always liked the wheel as a fun way to really mess up your whole night by taking some sort of disgusting shot with your friends. I was in PT's once when they turned on all the lights to send everyone home, and it was really unsettling to see the place with the lights on and full of sad, drunk college students (myself included) and it kind of scarred me for life. Their DJ was usually better than at some of the other bars, so the dance floor was usually popping and it was a good place to rub up against strangers. All things considered, aside from getting my fake confiscated, I do have fond memories of PT's!

First time in here since college. I liked PT's in college, but honestly I liked every single bar as long as there was liquor and a dance floor. It was pretty dead as it is summer, which is no surprise. The smell of stale urine combined with a slightly sticky floor brings back the memories, not in the best way. The prices were cheap for drafts that night, but the "kinda cold" beer coming out was not ideal. I'm sure I'll be going back again, but was not very impressed.
